Child Safety Seat Certification

CCC (China Compulsory Certificate) scheme for child safety seats products came into force in September 2014 in China. Starting from 1st of September, 2015, child safety seats without CCC mark and certification are not allowed for import or selling in China. The Chinese market for child safety seats is getting increasingly large due to relaxation of one-child policy and strong market of cars. Understandably China has strict regulation on the import of such products which are directly related to the safety of children in China.

Starting from September the 1st 2015, CCC becomes a mandatory requirement for all child restraint system (or child safety seat) products to be sold in the Chinese market. The complete certification process may take 4 to 8 months, so we recommend to prepare and start it early.
